DigitalRuneMatrixDAreNumericallyEqual Method (MatrixD, MatrixD, Double)
Determines whether two matrices are equal (regarding a specific tolerance).

Namespace: DigitalRune.Mathematics.Algebra
Assembly: DigitalRune.Mathematics (in DigitalRune.Mathematics.dll) Version: 1.14.0.0 (1.14.0.14427)
Syntax
public static bool AreNumericallyEqual(
	MatrixD matrix1,
	MatrixD matrix2,
	double epsilon
)

Parameters

matrix1
Type: DigitalRune.Mathematics.AlgebraMatrixD
The first matrix.
matrix2
Type: DigitalRune.Mathematics.AlgebraMatrixD
The second matrix.
epsilon
Type: SystemDouble
The tolerance value.

Return Value

Type: Boolean
if the matrices are equal (within the tolerance epsilon); otherwise, .
Exceptions
ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullExceptionmatrix1 or matrix2 is .
Remarks
The dimensions of the two matrices are compared and the matrices are compared component-wise. If the differences of the components are less than epsilon the matrices are considered as being equal.
