| MatrixDAreNumericallyEqual Method (MatrixD, MatrixD, Double) |
Determines whether two matrices are equal (regarding a specific tolerance).
Namespace: DigitalRune.Mathematics.AlgebraAssembly: DigitalRune.Mathematics (in DigitalRune.Mathematics.dll) Version: 1.14.0.0 (1.14.0.14427)
Syntax public static bool AreNumericallyEqual(
MatrixD matrix1,
MatrixD matrix2,
double epsilon
)
Public Shared Function AreNumericallyEqual (
matrix1 As MatrixD,
matrix2 As MatrixD,
epsilon As Double
) As Boolean
public:
static bool AreNumericallyEqual(
MatrixD^ matrix1,
MatrixD^ matrix2,
double epsilon
)
static member AreNumericallyEqual :
matrix1 : MatrixD *
matrix2 : MatrixD *
epsilon : float -> bool
Parameters
- matrix1
- Type: DigitalRune.Mathematics.AlgebraMatrixD
The first matrix. - matrix2
- Type: DigitalRune.Mathematics.AlgebraMatrixD
The second matrix. - epsilon
- Type: SystemDouble
The tolerance value.
Return Value
Type:
Boolean if the matrices are equal (within the tolerance
epsilon); otherwise,
.
Exceptions Remarks
The dimensions of the two matrices are compared and the matrices are compared
component-wise. If the differences of the components are less than
epsilon the matrices are considered as being equal.
